It depends on its use, also the action and quality of the rod is a factor. It might be easier asking for suggestions of a particular rod for a particular application for a particular price range.

You can find rods that say 30-80 and they have the action of a broom handle.

I just took a look at 3 of my rods, they were all 30-80 and they were all different rods. Any I would and do use for Tuna, but one will wear you out more than another.

Im a value shopper, if you want that Ill give you a few suggestions.

I looked at those rods. They look good, but only buy one and try it out. I bought a rod that looked great, when I fished it, it fell apart.

If you want to go with a known rod, try the Shakespear tidewater, or penn stand up.

I like the Penn Mariner stand up rods 30 and 50 pound class. they are made very well.

I have 4 of them and they are a great all around rod. I use them for inshore and offshore

I bought a couple off Ebay just to drag teasers and I'm glad that's their only job cause they are not well built. If your hands on and you don't need these rods in the next couple weeks try building yourself over the winter down time. I looked on "Seeker" website and bought 4 rods this time last year (Seeker is really a great rod but Calstar also) and their web site gets pretty specific on legnth/tip/action (I like fast or Extra Fast). Grips an gimbles are easy just match up size (I use Mudhole Tackle) reel seats are sized I prefer the machined aluminum then the guides and tip. I love Adco for their roller guides and built two with their super heavy duty rollers and have had no trouble with knots flying through the guides. Its fun, helps with fishing fever over winter and you get quality components for cheapest pricing. Not that hard and their are plenty of books on the subject. WARNING: Don't like it too much unless you can start selling them after you build 20 or so. I have a hard time parting with them
