Fly Fishing the Eastern Shore Locations?

I'm traveling to Belle Haven on the Eastern Shore every couple of months and would enjoy stopping to throw some flies!

Can anyone recommend any locations that are accessible by land (on foot, not by boat)? I'm interested in fishing either shore and the local creeks. Problem is, I just don't know where to go. To the out-of-towner it looks like everything is blocked by private land.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
