unsure.gif I was on a ship tied up to Craney Island Fuel Depot a couple of weeks ago and there was what looked like a 25 foot cat hull going down the river at a high rate of speed at night. The boat ran into a section of dredge pipe and came to an immediate stop. We had some small navy boats in the area that were able to go right to the scene. They said the guy got smacked in the face pretty hard.
They were able to medivac him off quickly under the cicumstances. The next day sea tow tried to float the boat off using a pillow under the hull and inflating it. With three people on board the cat sea tow took it in tow. Within five minutes the boat sank/flipped over with the motor running an put several people in the water, who were quickly picked up by an other boat in the area. I think sea tow tried to tow the all but submerged boat all the way to little creek. I have not heard anything else about this and was just wondering if the guy was ok? I felt really bad for him as I often have my boat out at night striper fishing etc. Has any one heard any more on this?

A friend of a freind said the guy went through the windshield and was is critical condition. The freind of a freind works at a boat yard where the cat finally made it. The boat is a total loss. I hope and pray the guy gets better.
