Not really much going on in the bay yesterday for us. We managed some fish, but nothing major. Did see some birds working the bend between the 2-3rd for a moment, then that was it. Rode over to the Hi rise and dunked eels, a very weak tide yesterday and we landed a few sharks. Hopefully it is not blowing when the moon gets the tides running with more power.
We heard that everyone was at Plantation light, anyone have reports from there?

PeeJcj8,
I finally got one! 39", 25 lb. at the high rise. I was intending on drifting eels between those places you had recommended, but everone else started anchoring, so I did the same. Had a couple of other good strikes, but I missed them. Did catch a shark early on.
The tips and info you provided helped me out.
Hope the boat worked ok. I tried to call you later, but I guess you had gone in.
Thanks again,

Fished Kiptopeke area (bouy 18) yesterday afternoon solo. Caught a 41" in the first five minutes....released. Had a several runs a few minutes later that never came tight, the fish would just drop the eel after 2 seconds. That was it in 3 hours of fishing, did see a few fish being landed. Tryed hailing you while I was out there.
Today, Wednesday, headed back up there this morning to find no marks on the bottom machine and choppy, sloppy conditions. After an hour of no bites, headed to the CBBT for some meat. Picked up some fish 22-28 range and a 35" for dinner trolling storms around the pilings.
Heard of few being caught of the Ramada but didn't investigate. No bait around anywhere is a problem.
Next trip will be trolling in the ocean somewhere, I think the cows may have moved on. Hopefully the fish from the north will swing in here soon.

Fished with Owen and Ryan(astrobud311) on Tuesday up around the concrete ships and plantation lights. Had a couple hits, Lost 1 we thought we had hooked up and then lost a hog when the line snapped immediately after setting the hook. Never saw it but it was definately solid. Slack tide came in and water never started to move again.....
