Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing:
These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Went out last night, I dont know if I was rigging wrong or what, buut boats all around me got fish, I got sharks. Any suggestions for how to rig my eels. 21 ft Renkin seamaster walk around cuddy, Name is KEEP IT REEL. Thanks in advance for any advice. Keep your tips up 8)

are you anchoring, or drifting?

Our bottom rigs only got sharks, are you putting all your rigs on the bottom?

I would float some and suspend some and put some near the bottom.

WENT OUT ALL DAY TUESDAY , JIGGED EELS ON BOTTOM AND GOT ONE CITATION OYSTER TOAD. IT WAS A SAD DAY. sad.gif

was out there thursday as well on the c-note. Caught all our fish from 6-7 pm in one spot. Caught about 18 fish, no big ones, and that was it. Was slow for everyone. North, South, East, West, never got another bite

Eels on the bottom will catch you some dogs. Stripers too, but lotsa dogs. We always count cranks until we are catching, starting with about 3 cranks. And some nights, it just doesn't matter. You're stinking, and the fish are smelling it. Better luck next time

WE NORMALY FISH OUR EELS ON A FLOT. ONLY GOT ONE DOG THIS YEAR ON A EEL ON THE BOTTOM.SLIP BOBBERS ARE THE WAY TO GO
