Off Today with my man Munchkin (Mark). An old Sea dog and his son Travis.
Set out towards the 4A planning on a Northern Troll. Lines in the drink at sun up and trolled and trolled and trolled and trolled
No birds, scattered bait, not much sign. Marked individual bait clusters, however nothing to talk about. Received some intel from Shortcomings down south,(Thanks Keith) so we decided to work with what we had. So we stroked the rods!!!, Sang songs to the sirens and paid eternal Thanks to the old man of the sea, even did a war dance. And then the Rod bent. And then went slack? We all looked at each other as "You have got to be kidding me". Then 2 minutes later she bent again, and almost in half. I grabbed the 50 and handed it to my main man Travis, Travis opened up a can of blistering W.A. on the 42'' and brought her to the boat. Like a seasoned professional.
Fish were caught on a northernly troll, both on an umbrella rigs. I have to tell you though, Munchkin makes the badest daisy chain known to man. We even landed a 9'' menhaden on this chain. (lol). Maybe one day he'll even make one for me.Water Temp 42.8, light wind, no seas.
A great day on the water, with a fine crew. Let the Pics tell the rest. Travis you are the MAN!
