Dont forget there is a club meeting this Wednesday at 6pm in Divequarters. It is open to anyone (men and women of any level of experience) who want to learn about spearfishing and freediving, and meet some cool people. Look forward to seeing you there!

I'll stay for a little. I cant be too long because of school, but I want to try out my new fins. Carpool sounds good. I'll call or email you tonight. Did you see the new club website. Looks like a good start. He is still working on the stuff that we sent in. www.MAFLC.com

Honestly, read some of the past posts, come to one of our meetings, and take someone who knows what they are doing for your first couple of times. There are definelty some tricks that you dont want to learn the hard way. At the meetings, we can impart a ton of info much easier than in a tedious Q+A here through this site. We will also be having a page on Tips shortly on the club website at www.MALFC.com

Speargun choice, fins, wetsuit, etc really depend on your size, interests, and abilities. We would be glad to help you anytime you would like to attend. We do have the seminar this Thursday for $30 with several experts in different areas including safety, gear, and techniques. I would highly recommend that, if you are interested in spearing this summer, you should attend. Give Reyes a call or email to let him know if you would like to come or if you have any questions. Best wishes,
Todd
