took the girlfriend to the back lake in my parents neighborhood tonight, bought 2 dozen shinners on sunday, only had 5 live ones left. 5 minnows, 3 bass, missed one, turtle took the other minnow, all in about 20 minutes. biggest bass went 3lbs. all three released, best of all, girlfriend had a blast and wants to go again.

Hope you guys caught something.... All the little lakes in this area are stocked to the brim though.... Glad you guys had a good time.

Good luck with Love Dude. Hopefully she is not pretending to love retention pond fishing, only to later make you stay home all of striper season to watch reality shows with her.

Women can be pretty crafty.

The first time she say's "no I dont want to go fishing, its raining too hard," ditch her. biggrin.gif
