We left Rudy about 0500 aboard Midnight Sun and lines in at Hot Dog by 0700. A typical day passed by with a few knock downs but when it was all said and done we had 3 citation bluefin releases and one citation in the box measuring 66in and 82lbs along with 2 20lb kings for good measure.

Thanks Ryan.

That's a great day.....I think you meant to say 66 inches 182 pounds....the 98 pounder we caught taped out at 57 inches.....if not that's a skinny Blue fin...Bob

We used horse Ballyhoo with blue and wihte islanders and pink and white islanders. had a couple of small squid teasers short and a couple of cedar plugs. all the action was 200yds back on the blue/white and pink/white combos. actually i think we had one fish and a knock down on bare hoo also.

What is a release citation for a BFT? Used to be 73" and thought a BFT citation was 100#.

See it is 60" now. Woow been letting citations go and not getting credit. Live and learn.
