Okey guys spill the beans. Gonna be getting Mercurys Rev 4 prop this week. 410.00 plus shipping on ebay. Everyone around here wants 470-520 bucks. I want to support the local guys but thats a huge difference. Even Ken at Propgods wants close to 500.

We too ours to Wildcats in Chesapeake. They did a great job. They had everything from small props to huge props for tugs. They also gave me a computer print out of the prop before & after the work was done.

Well murphys price is the same as kens at prop gods, BUT ken will let you return your prop for like 30 bucks if its not what you want. Murphys will not, he told me, "you got what you got if i order you one".

I dont think id have a hard time reselling a rev 4 so i am going to just go ahead and order one from ebay for like 410.00.

Depending on what pitch you need, there are some nice used ones on ebay right now. They cant have messed up hubs because they just pop out. 19's are easier to find used than 17's.

I have been looking everywhere, craigslist, ebay, ebaymotors, screamandfly, hulltruth, tidalfish, you name it and im a forum ho there. Rev and PT are just hard to find used.

DFurman, what was the outcome with the 19p rev4? ive got a 17P 15.5 dia that Im running ang I run outta prop, motor can hit the rev limiter(6000rpm) with ease. I think the 19 would bring it back to 5800.

ive got a 3 blade 19p, its quicker and the rpm are in the right place, but it burns more fuel.
