My Father and I left Bell Isle Marina at around 9:30 this morning. My dad wanted to stop at factory point and jig for some small ones, but I had a feeling deep down that the birds were out there. Once I convinced him that I was 99% sure we would catch fish elsewhere, we set out towards the Bluefish Rock area. We found the birds working about a mile off Grandview beach. I was using a 1 1/2ounce white bucktail and my dad was using a 2 1/2 ounce chartruese bucktail. Unfortunatley for my dad he only caught 1 throwback at 17", while I caught all the rest of the fish, my smallest being 18" and my biggest at 23". We headed back in at around 10:30 A.M. with our limit. The final tally was 2 at 19" 1 at 20" and the biggest at 23". Overall it was a successfull trip that only took 1 hour and we only burned 3 gallons of gas jumping-smiley-015.gif . By the way Dinner was great! with fresh fish on the grill!

That's the way to get them and get home. 1 hour and 3 gallons can't beat that and a dinner to boot. Thanks for the report.
