I'm from Lancaster County PA. Been reading this forum for about a year. Have a 17' Whaler. A buddy and I want to try this as our first tournament. Obviously we can't commit until the last minute when we can check the weather to be sure we'll be able to fish. It'd be a long ride for nothing if it was to rough for us to get out. Do you see any problems with not registering until the Captains meeting on January 15.

Welcome to the VBSF team! Lancaster County is some incredibly beautiful country. You are more than welcome to register at the Captain's meeting, but there are a couple of things you need to be aware of. First there is no early registration discount, so the entry fees are slightly higher, and second we can't guarentee your tournament tee shirt sizes. Tee shirts are first come, first served at the Captain's Meeting, so you might want to be there early. If you need a hotel room, Dave, our Sponsorship Director, is working to get discounted rates for tournament participants. Stay tuned for more info and come on down and catch some stripers!

Hey welcome to the board. I was born and raised in Millersville Pa . I graduated Penn manor 1984 & west chester university 1988. I moved to Va Beach and fished here the last 20 years. If there is anything i can do for you just ask. Ill be back in Gods country for Christmas visiting my parents that still live there.

I hung some antennas for Nextel on that old water tank in Millersville back 8 or 10 years ago. Small world!
