Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Todd has lived and fished the coastal waters of VA/NC for over 20 years. He brings experience from the Florida Keys for a unique fishing style. He and his mate Jake will plan a special trip for you.

They depart from Rudee Inlet, within walking distance of the oceanfront hotels. They offer kite fishing for king mackerel, cobia. Trolling for spanish mackerel, bluefish. Light tackle casting for speckled trout, redfish. Chumming for sharks and of course fishing for big trophy striped bass.

Thank you all for your support. I especially want to thank the Captains on Mega Bite, Billable Ours, On Course, for sharing much information . All these captains run first class charters that I will do my best to live up to there ethical standards. I look forward to the challenges of fishing under just a little more pressure to catch fish.
Also with any luck my mate "son" Jake will decide to be a productive member of society instead of fishing his whole life. Second thought , I wish I knew what he does at his age !
