This Saturday we hosted another great deep dropping day aboard the Rudee Angler. We started the day running offshore with a steady 25 knot SW breeze in 3 foot seas. We started off the day testing a few wrecks, finding decent luck with the black seabass. With nice sea bass in the coolers, we headed to the deep.

We put folks on blueline tilefish almost right away. The tilefish grew larger throughout the day, with our biggest tile weighing in at just over 19 pounds! We also boated some nice black belly rosefish, to 4-pounds, and a hefty 40-pound snowy grouper. Everyone had a great time and a great catch! We registered 11 citation tiles up to 19 lbs, and 2 citation sea bass.

We have added the next two Saturdays for deep dropping and starting June 4th we plan to run 12 hour trips every Thursday throughout the summer.
