Although the wind has been blowing almost every day, the bigger boats are still getting out and the gaffer fishing is really starting to heat up. Yesterday the docks were covered with fish in the 15-25# class. Today is the last day of the Hatteras Village Tournament and yesterday the boat called "Fishing Partner" killed a 581# blue marlin. My friend John on the "Reliance" is leading in the wahoo & tuna division. Yesterday he came in with 700+ pounds of fish. I think it was 9 yellowfins up to 50+ #'s and 26 gaffers and 1 wahoo. He also had some kings and false albacore.
As for the "Clear Shot" we are still trying to straighten out a few mechanical problems. It looks like we will be back up to full strength by mid week, hopefully the weather gods will be kind.
May have a few spots open the 25th, 26th, & 27th if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the report Tony. I'll be heading down to Pirate's Cove on 'Billable Ours' with Dave on Friday and fishing Sat and Sun...might be in the same waters, so give us a call!
