Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Started out at the tip of the canyon 7 am trolled without a bite for almost an hour.Then heard Still Think'n say they had 5 in the box with 3 on.Ran south a few miles (430 line 50fathoms)put lines back in and BAM fish on before we could get all lines out.Then it was singles ,doubles ,triples for the next 2 1/2 hours till we limited out.There was only two of us on the boat so it got busy real quick.We were done fishing at 11AM ,home and cleaned up by 3:30 quickest offshore trip ever for me.All our bites came in 50- 100 fathoms 64.5 deg. water.
The fog was real thick 50 yard visability at times.Without radar it would have S--cked.Be careful. 6 YFT to 40 lbs. 1 lost gaffer WHAT A AWSOME DAY!!!!! |

We fished OI on Friday caught a good group of gaffers -1 heavy tuna strike -no joy though- as it came loose- so Va Beach was the ticket on red meat this week. Kent |
