Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing

Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Captain Group: Supporter Posts: 335 Joined: 5-October 04 Member No.: 460 MY BOAT: 29' Hydra-Sports Vector CC "Sea Change"	Had an excellent day with Jimbob and his bud David out there. It was an awesome first trip on the new rig with a fresh crew, put together at the last minute with a late start, but we were in the fish all day. We went 14 for 14 on Tuna bites with 8 throwbacks. 6 nice yellowfins and 1 mahi ended up in the box. We had two triples and a double with all baits gettting hit, mini-bar and sea witches. Two fish were in the boat in less than 10 minutes after dropping lines. Big thanks to Jimbob for running the pit and coming through with tackle, bait and some good intel from Black Pearl (Thanks Jeff!). Even though we ended up going through a thunderstorm and got our butts kicked on the ride home it was a really fun trip, I think you can tell by the smiles on our faces. Attached image(s)
