Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Left Broadcreek Marina about 0630 and headed to the Tuna Hole. Lines in and trolling about 0800. 0900 left flat line gets hammered by a blue marlin. He grayhounds about 10 times down the side of the boat and tries to spool us twice. John is doing a great job working the fish, Mike is doing an awesome job with the boat and all I had to do was clear the lines and sit back and wait. John has Mr. Blue to the side of the boat in 25 minutes. I get the bill in hand remove the hook and get a clean release. He went 200-250 lbs. Congrats to John on his first Blue. Spent the rest of the day trying to kill something. Ended the day with 2 nice gaffers. back at the dock 1800.
