MY BOAT: Hydrasports 3300cc Seadation II

Headed offshore Wednesday morning with 4 friends. Decided to head to the Canyon. Seas were a little uncooperative on the way out, but gave me an opportunity to put the new boat through the paces. Put lines in by 7:15 AM. Took about 40 min to find the tuna, but then the action was pretty steady all day. Worked in deeper water over 100 fathoms this time.

Had Multiple triple and quadruple knockdowns throughout the day. Many little Tuna around 25 inches....threw back about 15 YFT. Boxed 12. Largest was 60LB. Three in the 40lb class. Rest were 27-31 inches. Lost one other fish that appeared to be 50lb class right at the boat smile.gif

All in all it was a really great day. No other fish but YFT. Non-stop action. It appears from what I was hearing on the radio that the bite was scattered a bit compared to last weekend. Some boats were boxing more Mahi than YFT. I nailed all the tuna in 67.5 degree water, all over 100 fathoms.

Will post pics in a few minutes. Fish em up boys!!!

Damn, seems like you're always on the fish! Those YFTs had some nice size to them. Keep me in mind for your next trip.
