Fishin Fool – Flatties Jigging Adventure
[/font] Had the pleasure of having Louis Glaser and John Brown aboard, the goal was to jig up a few Flatties. We tried the usual places, caught some throwbacks, a couple of rays, oyster toads, a bluefish, croakers and a couple of very unhappy bull sharks. We ran north, then east, then south, then west a little closer to home. We finally found our grove and JB put the first keeper in the box, a Very Nice PAPER FLATTIE. It was a respectable 27 3/4” long weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz. NICE FEESH JB!!! A little while later Louis HOOKED UP and boated another nice keeper fish, but JB’s was Bigger… Sorry Louis… Next Time… All fish were caught on Bucktails. What a Great Crew, they fished hard on a tough day and put some nice fillets in the cooler. We also saw Fletcher of REEL TIME with some out of town family. They caught some nice Spanish and a couple of sharks. Good seeing you out ther Fletcher.
