Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing
Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Started trolling east towrds the canyon from the fingers yesterday. picked up 4 gaffer dolphin and one bailer within 10 miles east of the fingers. No debris, no temp break, no grass line, random strikes on everything we had in the water. We had a pink squid chain on the WWB, islander/hoo combo's on the longs, and naked islanders on the shorts. All were hit at one time or another, with the naked green, and the black/red islander hoo combo being prevelant. Water temp was around 69 - 70, and we picked most of them up in 165-170 ft of water.

Back at it on Friday.. What you probably got hit by was that bluefin, there were a few caught there this past week. Better to not see what could have been then to get it boat side and lose it.
