Left Ch'ville 4:30 to head to the Ches. Light. Plan was to leave Lynnhaven pick up a few blues and head to the tower. Leave Lynnhaven with a N wind and rough seas heading toward ocean front. Lines in and pick up 6 spanish on pass heading S, second pass N another 5. Seas were rough for the 2 boys so glad to see the quick action. Slowed but stayed steady picking up about 25 fish before it realy got slow. Grass was keeping us busy cleaning the gold and silver 0-00 spoons behind #1 planers and 4oz. and 6oz. inline. 1:00 decide to stay a little longer as seas had not settled and we we're still picking at them in 18'-22'. Troll N and just off the light we get real busy. My brother says we should count as they were stacking up in the box, turns out to be 56. Pick a single and finish our limit on a triple with mostly wide body fish up to 18" for the day. Several blues released would have been nice bait had we headed out for spades and let a blue swim around for whatever wants an easy meal. No pics this trip as the camera stayed in the case, did use the phone to send a pic of a Carrier off the stern to son Nolan who's in Long Island, NY visiting with friends, he's having a 11 year old blast catching juvenile Taug and Porgies from the surf on the sound. Another great day on the water with a nice catch.

Nice job that is one good haul for a day. That Carrier was the USS Carl Vinson who just came out of a overhaul at Newport News. We also saw it on our run home from off shore.
