My Big Mouth Options

Well no sooner do I run my mouth about not catching throwback flounder than I go and do nothing but that.

Fished back river reef Sat morning from about 7:30 till around 1. Early on the wind was out of the north pretty hard and made drift a little quick for my liking, don't like to bump troll in less than 30ft of water but had to keep the drift slow enough. No live bait for the first time in over a month which meant we spent an hour or so catching croaker to cut up, after that fished cut croaker, flounder belly/skin from last weeks keepers and a variety of gulp baits on a variety of jigs. only three flounder all day two right at 18 and one a little over 16 . . . the croaker weren't real big so the strips were in the 4-5" range instead of the 6-8" that I prefer, but the flounder strips I used were plenty big no takers on them at least not enough to get the hook. Saw one nice fish +23" come over the side of a boat we were fishing near. He was anchored up and using what looked like small spot(cursed myself for not taking the time to at least net some mullet in the morning). Anyway thought I'd eat a little humble pie.

Anyone catching any big flatties up by the CBBT or wrecks this weekend?
