Finally made it out to heaven...for me...hooked up with my buddy Dave Smith who boat is Blue Eyed Sons. We had a full crew headed out just north of the canyon. Had a few drinks at Hooked near Fishmen Warf so just figured Ill sleep on the ride out. We left at 0400 and had our lines in the water around 0645. The first 45 minutes Im still feel Hooked hoping for us to get Hooked up. Hour of trolling we had some bait fish action in around 560ft of water with water temp right at 68.4 and there goes the first rod screaming and 4 sec later there goes the second reel....landed both YFT 45# an 48#....Yeahhh and the day is still young. I was so hung over I didnt get any pics of those two. And thanks Don your mini pink and blue spreader bar was responsible for one of them. And only slowed down. We worked the edge for the rest of the day picking up two more YFT and one bailer mahi. Once I figure out how to post the pics I'll put them on.
