If your reffering to the big red light house out from the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel thats Thimble Shoals Light house! You can see it looking out from Willoughby and yes there are sharks out there. You are mostly going to catch sandbar sharks. An average length is around 2-5ft... Anchor up around Buckroe/Grandview area or out towards the CBBT, throw out some chum and fresh baits and you will catch sharks. Im sure someone else can give you better advice for sharks, but they are all around the bay area and with chum, you will get sharks and maybe even a cobia! Good luck,
