I have a 2003 Mercury(made by Yamaha) 225 four stroke. My engine is cutting off at trolling speed (1000-1200) rpm. I have to pump the primer bulb as it goes soft. I have no problems running at higher RPM's. So today I replaced all of the fuel lines, new primer bulb, new water separator, and new engine fuel filter. After all of that it is still doing it. here is the odd thing... it did the same thing last summer. No problems in the winter while striper fishing. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check all your connections, especially the water separator oring and the fuel plug to the engine. If there is any leak or if it is sucking air, it can cause what you are describing.
