Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing:
These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Anybody else going after tuna Thursday?

Jeff We will be leaving Wanchese around 6.15am for the tuna grounds. Watch out for the inlet dredge pipe if you leave before first light. it was spanning the entire inlet this past Saturday and you had to slide by the dredge on the North side i was marking 4 feet of water for about 75 to 100 yards. The inlet should be fine Thursday am with the south winds but it was chunky last week end. I will be on 67 and 80. Catch em up and travel safe. Conch
