Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Bob, On a past rainy day, surfing the web looking at boats. Ski Boats unlimited had an interesting ad for a 28 ft CC Southport. Say it ain’t so????????????

Sorry I"ve been lacking on posting lately..I've been on a whirlwind of travel with work the last month and a half.....But I digress...

Still Think'n is up for sale..yes this is true.....Southport is coming out with a 34' Center console with a 11'6" beam middle of next year and they want me to have one of the first hulls released...this bad boy will have twin 350's, same basic design as the 28 but longer and wider and more horses pushing her !....I need to get rid of my current Still Think'n to be able to bring home my new baby !!.....really excited and more details to come as I get them.

Just flew back in from a work/fishing trip to Palm beach....Had to work Tuesday, and had a 4PM flight back to Norfolk...well, we slipped out of Jupiter Inlet around 0800 and got on some Mahi and some Black Fin Tuna, had at least 3 sails playing with us but not coming tight...My buddy had me back to the dock by 1230 so I could get my rental car returned and get back hom....Good time...

I'm thinking some Blue Fin Tuna action will be coming up here shortly.....stand by for that !...It's gonna be good...Bob

Ok! all is well in the fishing world. Sounds like a good deal, Hope it works out. Will she live in the water or on wheels, very wide for wheels? Any way if you get the itch to fish for the Blue boys in the middle of the week and are short on people I need to burn six VAC days.
