Is there any chance of success trolling for Blues by the MMBT or JRB in the next couple of weeks?...or do I need to go out to HRBT and beyond. Thanks in advance.

Not too sure about that area but last year we caught a mix of blues and spanish around York Spit. Do you own that blue sail boat?

Impulse,

Not me on the blue sailboat...Salty Dog is a 22' Arima HT with 225 Honda. Thanks for the tip on York Spit.

There is someone at the end of the canal with a blue sail boat called salty dog and he also has a 24 century. I dont remember what time of the year it was but we just used clark spoons and had a fish every 10min for about 3 hours. It was fun.

Caught a bunch out at the CBBT (1st and 2nd) today in spite of the rain. They were hitting what ever you threw at them. Lures, minnows, you name it. Made for a nice way to spend a rainy day.

went out last Thursday and spotted the birds working on the Norfolk side of HRBT.
Put on a Rattle Trap and had a field day with the Blues !

Blues are a pain.

I learned the hard way not to use white and red bobbers while spade fishing at CBBT.

I finally put a treble hook on a bobber and caught a blue everytime I threw it, bobber did not last long though.
