I hit the 95 bridge for a few hours and went downstream a couple miles for a few hours. caught 6 cats biggest going 25-30 lbs.

I had the worst luck ever hooking up, I went 1 for 5 on bites/takes, my buddy outfished me badly. The shad are there and so are the crowds, you can tear em up on a sabinki or darts/spoons. The ramp was a zoo, as usual, especially since they were having a catfishing tourney.

The water seems unusually warm, by the time the striper season opens all the bait will be swimming in the atlantic.

No pics, next time.

fished it again 3/19.

Fished the bridge for a bit, couldnt catch any LEGAL bait in the net, finally got a couple hickory shad on the sabiki... didnt even get a bite at the bridge, moved down down river to my hunny hole, caught 5 blues, none over 15lbs... Pretty much a rough trip, but it was nice to be on the water.

Fished the high tide to the low tide. 5-9PM. On the way in a fella at the dock said someone at the bridge caught a 40lb striper... go figure
