I looked back in my log, which I shouldn't have...it just made it worse, and I haven't been offshore since August 26th and I haven't fished offshore since the 19th!!! Luckily we got out to the Triangle wrecks two weeks ago, but this just isn't fair. May be we'll get an Indian Summer with light and variable winds with a big warm water eddy at the Fingers!! So until then, I'll be in my shed making lures to catch 'em!!

We fished around a mass of sargasum...you know all that sargasum that was on the beach last week: those same weeds. We got an 18# bull dolphin, had another the same size hooked up and bailed several others along with a Spanish Mack. Now that was on the 1st, so things have really changed since then. Water temps were between 70-72, not sure what they are now. Might be some False Albacore around or King Mack. Good luck if you go!!
