Had a dead battery this afternoon so I had to plug in shore power until it charged up. I didn't leave my dock until 4:15 but headed out with lines in around Cape Henry at 4:45. Found fish in shallow water 19-22 feet between green can and the lighthouses. Only an hour fishing but a fun one.

My 2 boys (7 and 10) are my usual fishing buddies but my wife came along this time. SHe got to see a little beehive work up at nightfall. She also got a 37 inch fish on a spinning rod which was a huge thrill.

Boys -- mom's going for yoga -- will be out in the AM. Boat is "No Objections" on 68 or if cluttered, on 72.

Good job B!! Congrats on the fish. I was fishing with a buddy the other day and we were using light spinning outfits and it was a blast!! Good luck today!
