Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. We'll be there NAUTI-CREW 300 Marlin Grady White, action-smiley-033.gif 0600 daparture from VILLAGE MARINA on Sat 5/13 --anybody got any scoop on fish location? --looks like the strong temp break is still about 33 south of the Inlet based on 5/6 info -- also I'll be on channel 80 and 1 and I am in slip 9 at VILLAGE, if anybody wants work out contact plan -- it will help us all if somebody gets in them!!!

Remember most of the Hatteras boays are on channel 1a.

WE're heading out of Oregon Inlet Fishing Center around 0600 (traffic permitting), I'll be monitoring a bunch of channels....looks like we're runn in a south easterly direction also......Bob

Wish I was going with you guys, but I have to take a weekend off to keep my domestic situation from any further damage from Hatteras forays. Wish you all good luck--looks like good attacking weather--be safe to all of you!
