Did anyone catch fish last night? Might go fish the CBBT tonight, but don't want to waste my time if the bite hasn't turned on yet.

Fished the incoming Tues. afternoon until about 8pm at the CBBT. Wire lined for about 2 hours in between the 2nd and 3rd island without even a hit. Then tried casting over at the first island on down past both of the SBC's and again not even a hit. Headed back in about 8 pm with the cloud of a skunk hanging over our heads but as we came back to the Lesner bridge the current was running out pretty good so we decided to give it a shot there with some storm lures. Did no good on the bayside but when we ran through to the inlet side we started catching fish right away. Nothing very big, the keepers were only 20 to 22 inches, but it kept us from being skunked and we had a good time catching fish on almost every cast for about 30 minutes and then we had enough and headed in. Broke one of my rules in going out last night: never fish after a storm front has hit the area even if it is just a small rain. The fish sense the change in the barometric pressure long before the storm arrives and do their feeding prior to its arrival. Fishing is generally real good if you get out about 6 to 12 hours prior to the fronts arrival.

[attachment=70:attachment]Fished from 11:00 til 8 last night....managed one fish around 1:00. Just a few fish being caught where we were, several boats wire lining but saw no action. Coast Guard was out by the High Rise boarding everyone so make sure your sled is up to date.
