Well Guys, we need to change things from..."that reminds me of a dream", to "that reminds me of a story"!!! I'm hoping the Bluewater Classic will provide the chance for a bunch of the VBSF faithful and new friends to be out on the water and build some stories of our own. (If you also have pictures we may even believe you!) I am also reminded that I have NEVER caught a fish when I did not have a line in the water and the boat was sitting at dock while I was home complaining about the weather!
Tight lines, great Pix Don, keep our interest up!

Don this is a older set of pictures. I first saw these in print at a barber shop just outside Mayport Base just east of Jacksonville Florida. I asked her where see got them and see said they were there when she bought the shop. Anyway a great sequence of pictures.

These pic`s appeared in an issue of SWS about 9 or 10 yrs.Ago...I gonna search
out the issue, i have it in a box somewhere and will bring it to one of the
M & G`s... Damn cool pic`s and what do you think the chances are of being
in the right place at the right time to have it happen again with camera in hand?

I was lucky enough to see a half dozen (roughly) 900-1,000 lb Blue Marlin "Knitting" a school of O'Pelu off the coast of Kona, Hawaii in 96'. Freak'n unbelievable. They hung in the school for over an hour and half and wouldn't even look at a baited hook...nothing!
...That was by-far the worst feeling when they disappeared...just about as bad a losing a "close to" grander at the gunnel.
Still brings tears to my eyes....hum.
