Well after a decent weekend of fishing, we decided we wanted to dump the boat in the water after dad got off work. So I called up my friend and told him to go fishing with us since he doesn't get to go very often. So dad got home at 5:00pm and we were at huntington by 5:45 after getting everything together. So we headed out to the M&M tunnel to our new and favorite hot spot which is the (east side over the tube) .We found a good spot a while back and it produces well. But we got out there about 6:30pm dropped two clark spoons over 01silver and 01 gold with a #1 planer. Trolled over our spot and WHACK a decent size rockfish. My bud reeled em in got a pic and a nice release. Swung around for round two trolled over the spot WHACK another rockfish action-smiley-033.gif Brought em aboard and let him off to get bigger for another day. A few minutes later in the same spot, WHACK, the rod was bent pretty good this time, but again it was another nice rockfish action-smiley-033.gif So we kept trolling over the same spot and we wound catching two nice bluefish 3-4lbers. All this action was in about 20minutes. So it was getting dark and we decided to go back to jrb to finish out with some good croaker fishing. We were very pleased with our catch in the amount of time we were out there. Cant wait to try that spot when rockfishing starts up. Good day along with pretty weather. food-smiley-004.gif Water temp was 80 degrees along with an outgoing tide. Till then, tight lines!
