Vehicle Description
STAMAS 255 Tarpon Center Console with forward V-berth Cabin with anchor locker access, and a portable head, T-top, for sale. If you know anything about STAMAS boats you’ll be impressed with this one. Boat was refurbished in late 1996. (new and larger fuel tank, engines, electronics, cabin cushions, etc.). Both Suzuki engines, one 1996 and one 1997 have stainless steel props and run/start smoothly but both need tune ups and general maintenance work, some of which has already begun. (both lower units drained and refilled, new fuel clamps and filters, new high pressure fuel regulators, new zincs on boat and motors, fresh hull bottom paint last month, etc.) I don’t know how many hours are on the engines but the boat has been in seasonal spring and summer use since refurbishment. I bought this boat 2 months ago with great intentions but unforeseen circumstances have unfortunately forced me to relist her for sale. The boat cruises at approximately 35 mph at 4000 rpm (tops out at around 50). Vessel is equipped with 210 gallons of fuel (over 3/4 way full now),RACOR spin off fuel filters with 10 micron filters. All electronics are in working order. The electronics include a Raytheon RL-9 radar, SIMRAD CE32 Color chart plotter with fishfinder, Raytheon V400 color fishfinder, 2 Vhf radios (Sitex and Standard Horizon), RAYTHEON RayNav 580 Loran C, SONY CDX-M630 am/fm/cd player with four speakers. Boat is also equipped with a Digital Twin FLOSCAN fuel monitoring system with engine sync, BENNETT sport trim tabs, GUEST remote spotlight with controls at helm, electric windlass, saltwater washdown system, 2 bilge pumps, livewells, new GUEST battery charger. Vessel has strataglass enclosures around helm station, ETEC Lever type outriggers on top frame with rigging. All antennas are mounted on t-top. Spreaders lights, TODD drop-down bolster seats with cushions, and new cushions thru-out deck areas. Vessel also comes with USCG equipment, SUNBRELLA full winter cover, forward cabin door and hatch cover, seat covers, and rod storage cover. Email me at rmk1014@earthlink.net or call me at 1-423-676-1001 if you have any interest…. or call my son Bill at 757-464-3846 with any questions. This boat is in excellent condition. To replace it new today as equipped would cost over $100,000 including $5000 in electronics alone. Vessel is located in Virginia Beach, Va. And will be in the water at a local marina beginning December 5. There is NO TRAILER. Asking for $12,900. Thanks for looking. Ask for BOB.
