Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. Fished with Mike(Rockin Robin) and his buddy Howard. Ran to Cape Henry under near flat conditions and set lines. Had marks once in a while, but nothing great. Fished to the Green Can and then picked up and ran south off Dam Neck. Nothing great there either. Decided to pull up and start the Christmas visiting. Right when we pulled the first line in, Mike goes..."Wait a minute, look at those marks!!" We started getting great bait marks, the kind that cover up the screen. Trolled for a while longer with no hits...then we called it and went home.
