Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing:
These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. I have not done much saltwater fishing.I would like to Cobia fish,they sound like a awesome fish.Can anyone reccomend a Captain I can fish with who is good at Cobia fishing . Thank you for your help.

When the cobia start showing up (a few months from now), check with Capt Keith Harlan on MEGA BITE (Site sponsor...link at the bottom of the page). The guy definately knows Cobia.

Thanks Fellas,I usually start fishing for Cobia when the Water gets to 68 Deg. I like the Lattimer Shoals area First.But the BF Rock & Grandview areas have the large Females in late to mid May.I fish two different ways for Cobia the Bay and Ocean I do a bit different.
