Fished on Sunday, 22 Apr 07 on Tom Kidwell's boat, the Tribute. Went south to the 000 on the stream edge and inside. The stream was sloppy but once we got outside it was nice. Found plenty of mahi to destroy our carefull rigged ballyhoos and managed some gaffers and bailers. Got a mako on the troll who tried to bite Tom's boat. Got it all on video. Could not make the tuna rise.

Things laid down nicely in the afternoon so we deep dropped for seabass and tiles. Got plenty for the box but the sharks (some big) keep being a pest on the bottom too.

Nice job on the dolphin and that mako. There were reports of makos off of the Rock Pile on Saturday. We faired pretty well with the tuna a little north of your position on Saturday around the 079-084. Its funny in Htteras, one day they're there and the next they're not.

Congrats again on your trip!!

All the way through the gel coat and into the fiberglass. Greg picked a tooth out of the gel coat. I think his new skull and crossbones decal makes the sharks think it's food. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
