Arrived at Teachs around 6am got out of the truck and found one of my trailer wheels sitting on the axle (dual axle). Top Gun (Jeff) and I oh well cant do anything now..lets go fishing. Slow ride out about 20-23 mph in opposing wind tide swell. lines in at the Rock Pile around 8am. False Albie on a WTFB bird /GM. Gaffer dolphin on B/W ballyhoo islander combo. 30-40lb YFT on a B/W ballyhoo sea witch . Lost 2 screamers on the WTFB bird GM Combos that didnt come tight (my two turns on the rod ).lots of flying fish in the a.m. All bites were very spread out. Thanks to Jeff and his work on the lines all day and keeping the fish on the hook. Nice smooth cruise in at 30mph . I left my boat at Teachs and brought the trailer back. Now I have an excuse to go down even sooner.
