Left Teachs Sunday 5.45 am for the 280 rock lines in at 7.15 seas were 3 to 5 with a stiff NW wind and white cappin set a course on the auto pilot for the south east rock was letting the flat line out to complete the spread and the planer rod breaks free and screams hard we put TJ on the reel and he goes to work i get all the lines in with a bw tracker B HOO hangin off the port rigger a 40 to 50 lb YFT skies four feet and grabs the hoo line gets wrapped around the rod tip from the impact and snap goes 60lb momoi I stick the gaff in the other tuna 54 lbs and we regroup, setting out the spread again i grab the line to place in the rigger and my hand gets seared by mono leaving the rod tip at mach 3 lesson learned wear gloves when setting lines we make short work of this fish he was in the 25lb class and hooked very deep, we regroup and its now 8.45 am All lines out and i can see the fleet up on the 230 rock we are about a half mile from them and three lines go down,we salvage one fish from a cluster---- of mono and braid nice fish of 40 lb class loaded with little flying fish he puked up three and we got two more out of his tummy, set the lines and we have two more knock downs in the next two hours. We decide to go jiggin over on a ditch between the 230 and 280 our fist drop and we are hooked up on seabass in the three to five lb range, next come the ajs up to 40lbs throw in a couple k macs,we lose a wahoo and an unidentified fish we had on for 35 minutes until the knot gave, The ride in was fast and smooth, awesome day on the water. Looking forward to next weekend at Teachs. Conch

Nice work! We were at the Point up North. Sounds like the OI fish may have been spooked South by the massive number of shark in the area. We had the water and good temp break, just no tuna.
Tight lines.
