Went Sat. nite, 6 hours. No drum, 50 sharks and dogs. The boat next to me caught 3 reds, and I heard of a few others. Weather said SW at 10, it was East at 25. Finally turned SW at 20, then we had to run into it all the way back to Little Creek. We stayed busy changing baits and got major pullage, sure would have liked a drum though. NEXT TIME ! smile.gif

what were you using for bait? i was using hard crab sat night and did pretty well. we did not have one critter on the crab; they prefer cut bait and clams.

I got out there (Fisherman Island area) early on Sunday and pulled in 10 rays, and 6 sharks.

All on live Blue and Peeler clams. No drum though. Seemed that everyone on the radio was having the same luck.

Maybe next time. biggrin.gif

I went Friday night and nothing but sharks and rays. Weatherman definitely screwed up the forecast. It was a long ride back to Sunset from 9 foot shoal. I was using peelers, bunker, and clams.
