Coast Guard Clarification On Ride Sharing


Message from the Coast Guard regarding trip sharing: These links will provide clarification of the regulations related to charter operations, and ensure that all operators who carry even one hop-on "HO" for a fee holds in their possession a valid Coast Guard license. fished SE out of Rudee about 55 miles. Found a nice weed line in 20 fathoms. Caught a 80lb white and released. Caught about 10 gaffers on the troll and bailed 30. Missed a nice wahoo next to the boat. Bite shut down about 11am all we had were a few little bailers that got the courage to hit our trolling gear. Flat calm seas full fish box and a release made it a great day.
