Jeff Maloney and gang came to town for some offshore fishing today, we pulled out a little later than we hoped, (today being a calm Saturday, everything floating was out today) Went to the cigar area, it just seems like an August thing out of Rudee Inlet. First bite was 2 whites at the same time, (sneaky rascals), OK ,I got one and then tried for the next and he ghosted on me. We catch and released him, and were behind the eight ball on the grass lines with dolphin today, but did get a few. Trolling in , we put out a deep rig and get a 36 lb Wahoo, for 2 citations today. Beautiful day today. Got a few openings still this month!
