We ran South today we Followed the Birds 27 miles Found a huge Hive dead Bunker floating,Birds Diving but when we slowed down we didnt get the marks we xpected. We fished there for a while without any knock downs. We then ran Further South even though a front was getting darker. The party must have gotten cut short by the low pressure cell I guess.I saw a nice blip on my Radar 10 miles further South and 5 miles out we decided not to chase and headed back in by 1130Am.That would have made the blip about 43 miles South and 5 miles offshore.

We fished cape henry for 2 or 3 hrs and didnt have a bump either. found some 42.5° water a few gannets diving around and a really large finback whale hanging out around the green can. Marked a lot of bait but no fish to be had. Saw Donna-Sea at Bubba's on the way in- smile.gif what a nasty day for a center console, lolol.

I heard that whale was 18 miles south of Rudy yesterday.

Fished from Cape Henry this morning to False Cape. Lots of marks but no takers. Wind and rain finally did us in. Lots of gannetts heading north about 1 mile offshore all day long. Looking to get em next time!!

Shoulda stopped - I'd bought you a beer or my personal favorate - the Bubba Burger. We covered the water from Sandbridge to Cape Henry - Nada..

Center console's not so bad when you wear those Survival Suits and polartec hoods.

Its amazing how fast you warm up when the fish start to bite.

Looks like seacraft was well represented today!!! I gave a wave when we rode by bubb'as but couldnt really see who was who in there. I wore my red mustang bomber jacket but it didnt keep my pants leg dry. I did have my heater on all day and it made it tolerable for the most part. you would think i would have a full enclosure by now, hahahaha. think ill be wreck fishing when im not doing baseball and can get out from now on. smile.gif

I saw a couple of boats go by, but I didn't see your SeaCraft. We were dry but our suits were pretty wet. They had to mop the floor in Bubba's.
