Silver Lining
Hoping to take my first off shore trip in my own boat on Sunday and would like to stay as close to shore as possible and still have a chance at some fish. Is there anything at the 26 mile hill or would it be a waste of time? Any suggestions would be appreciated. animal-smiley-077.gif

It is not a waste of time --many dolphin were caught very shallow last weekend. It will help if you can find some grass cover. The water is so hot now its virtually tropical inshore and in the deep - its all the same - no real breaks - so the main thing is finding bait and cover.

There was a grass line at the S.E. Lumps last weekend and we caught a dolphin there. Good luck.
