Fished with Scott R. and Fishabout, We went down as far as Corolla light and saw boats headed north so we didn't push any farther. We went through several areas of thousands of gannets sitting on the water and dead menhaden everywhere. IT must have really been hot on Friday is all I can say. We marked very little bait and caught no fish. It looked deserted most of the day. The morning ride was great on flat water. Enjoyed netwoking with the Debra Lee and Whale of a Tale.
The wind started its shift out of the NE and we were already working our way back towards Rudy. The last 10 miles I was glad to be in my Albe once again. It's amazing how fast a NE can turn the water nasty.
