Planned on fishing Sunday thru Tuesday but was only able to fish Monday due to major trailer malfunction. Left OI Monday at 5,30 am followed the fleet out to the tuna hole north of the point 3 miles from destination we spot two green sticks working an area a little north and head in their direction when we arrived their was amazing bird activity and tuna busting in every direction first line in is the planer with pink seawitch while deploying line two the planer gets slammed fish in the boat 35lb yft get four lines in and two go down both naked bally hoo off long riggers we box one and lose another. Now it gets chaotic we have six lines out it is 7.45 am and two whites come in as a team and commence to destroy all but the planer rod we did come tight on one for about 30 seconds, get three lines out after we catch our breath and the flat line goes off we box a real nice gaffer by now the whole fleet is upon us and the tuna go down about 9.30 the planer gets slammed and we put another yft in the box, Its a little after 10.00 am and we are putting up the kite and the man in the blue suit arrives to do some window shopping we only had three lines out due to the kite program but he visited all three and would not commit i tried to let him eat a bw islander but no doing Its 10. 45 am we get a major explosion on the kite rig ballistic flying fish clear all lines and game on we have this fish on for 20 minutes when he gets a real case of the ass and makes a dive straight for the depths within 15 seconds the 2 speed tld 30 is spooled my latino mechanic looks at me and says this fish very angry, We fish for another hour with two more hits both baits destroyed the planer and wwb i beleive it was Mr Wahoo, witnessed two different boats hooked up beside us with white marlin, lots of sea life, whales, turtles, mola, porpoise and birds all day just a great day. I hear that. Awesome day in the bluewater conch! I've never seen YFT schooled up like that down south this time of year. Pretty work!
