Don't forget boys .... some of the 50lb cows spawn WAY UP in the bay. It's time for them to head that way!

People should be out around Rudee fishing for them now. Last Friday coming in from offshore we ran into hundreds of gannets swooping and diving about 1-1/2 mile south of Rudee and about a mile out.

We trolled around for about 1/2 hour and quit as it was getting dark. Got there too late and didn't have time to find the fish, but there were bunker all over the place and the birds were cleaning them off the surface. We should have been there about 45 minutes to an hour sooner. Too bad I don't live over there where I could get my boat into the ocean real quick after work or I'd bve out there every night.
